Question Guys, how would you pot this terete vanda cutting??

I just cut it fresh from the mother plant (6-footer). She gets full day sun.

Pot 2 + mix of sp. moss (to retain moisture) + bark/charcoal/pebble mix + LECA??

How soon do you think I can push it out into direct sun??

I'd personally use bark, charcoal and pebble mix, with a much larger pot than any of them. Or I'd mount it. Just my 2¢

I have seven Vanda Miss Juaquim two feet stems tied to a long treefern pole and buried in a one gallon 8 inches tall glass vase on S/H method. I drilled the glass with four holes using a diamond drill cutter. I spray the little roots on the stems daily. It is outside on my fire escape enjoying direct sun. In winter it is indoors on the south facing window.

WOW, dendro king, you're 13???

And Bud, gotta say your method sounds very advance. No way for a novice like me.

Here's how I potted the cutting.

Chunks and LECA mix at the bottom. Sp. moss at the top to keep cutting hydrated.

You are in Singapore....a full day sun is perfect. I have seen this plant buried in the yard in southern California growing as high as the roof.

I'd just stick this on a tree, and make sure it gets plenty of light, if you're in Singapore.

I grow a Papilionanthe mounted onto a piece of log.
