Default Can I repot now

This guy needs to be repotted but it won't stop blooming. The medium is breaking down. Is it okay to repot while blooming? Its been in bloom since February. Or is it happy with the way it is?

I personally never wait to repot phals.
Haven't lost a bloom yet.
So I say go for it.

I would repot, but with the knowledge that the flowers might fade as a result (they might not).

It won't hurt the plant to do it now.

Many Phals don't miss a beat from repot while in bloom, but there is a chance it could drop blooms or buds. That said, if the media is bad, it's probably best to repot. Better to maybe lose blooms now than for the plant to decline due to bad media.

Just pick out the moss carefully and then drop it into a pot and put some media around the roots carefully. Phal won't know a thing. But the word here is "carefully".

When in doubt, whip it out . I say repot. Like Sonya said, it's better to possibly lose the blooms than the plant.
