Repot, mount or leave alone?

Just got this Bulbophyllum lasiochilum from Andy's Orchids. The one growth is really hanging over the edge of the basket. I know bulbos don't like to have their roots disturbed, but I would think the new growth would want something to hold on to or grow in to. Should I repot it, mount it or leave it alone?

I'd cut this off and mount it. Just get some cork bark or tree ferm and mount this to it. I'd opt for a long narrow piece and mount it high so the rizomes can grow down it. Put some spag moss on the mount and tape this or wire this to the spag moss. Keep it cool and moist but not wet. Good luck. I see some other leads that you could cut off and mount all together on the same mount. Yee hawww!!!

Leave it alone. Take a long twisty tie and tie the growth over the edge of the basket. It will grab onto the side of the basket and sink its roots into the media. Be prepared you will eventually have to hang the basket because the lasio grows in multiple directions.

The plant now covers all sides of the basket and is making a second layer of growths on top of itself. I grow this is Catt light and it is kept very moist. It is grown in a g/h where the temp is never below 60. It starts blooming in late summer and blooms for months.
