There were some I used to use which were glass and had a bulge in the bottom to hold the plastic pot out of any drips.
Unfortunately the maker changed the design and instead of having plenty of space around the sides of the inner pot they became much narrower at the bottom and I had just the same issue of not enough air flow.
The current design is better than the middle design but not as good as the old shape. Here is a link to what they look like now. I do use some of this shape, but much prefer the older shape when they quickly widened out at the bottom. Luckily I have quite a few of the old shape and can usually find one when I need it.

Found this link to the older shape I preferred. A standard 12cm pot fit well in this with air flow arround.

Finally found a link to the one that caused a problem with not enough air flow. I thought it was the same make but looks to have a different name from this link. I bought mine all from the same shop. Anyway, these were too tight in the base.

It might look only subtle differences in shape, but having tried all three the older ones are best.

I am too new to be able to put any pics on here yet and I don't know if I am allowed to put my website on, so I won't. Don't want to get thrown out on my first day.
Please message me for the details and all your worries will be solved in a magical way.

Generally we say that people who are here to take part, help others, discuss orchids with others and generally be a member of the forum, are welcome to post links to their own business as long as they make clear that they have a vested interest in the business they are linking too. We don't like people to just come here and post links to promote their business if it seems that is the only reason they are posting here.
We used to have a general guideline of about 50 posts before doing this and at moderators discretion, but sometimes the 50 posts has not mattered. Only recently another user specifically asked me if it was OK when in context with the post and the moderators agreed that yes it was.
It's obviously a bit difficult to tell your purpose as you've only made a couple of posts... but I would like to see this link as well, as I'm a UK resident always on the look out for good pots... so go for it
