New Carousel Pots for Phals
Hello and Happy Holidays!
I was looking through Repotme.com and they have the new pots along with a video clip. These really look nice and seem better for Phals. They are a bit pricey but appear to really let the Phal roots thrive. Has anyone tried them yet?
Here is the link and video clip ...

Thanks for posting this. I've never seen these before but they seem like they should work well. I use clear plastic pots with slits in the side. These new pots would probably dry out a little quicker than the pots I use. It's certainly worth a try.

Nice looking, but very expensive! That's a lot of money for a pot!

These are really nice, but wow - pricey. BUT, I might take some thick walled, flexible plastic glasses (which I have and don't use) a jig saw and a drill and try my hand at making a home-made one or two.
Thanks for the lead -
(I am soooooo cheap!)

I ordered a few to try them out, and I have three phals that I recently repotted in them. I'm using chunky bark, cork chips, lava rock, and charcoal as my mix. So far so good, they have only been in the pots for about three weeks now. The sides are nice and flexible so the roots can pop right out the sides if need be. They look great I'm hoping for great results!

That is good to hear karategirl73! Let us know how they do and it might be worth the investment. I like the idea of it - so keep us updated as to the results!

They are nice but at that price, I think I will need to pass.

They do look like they would work well, but price is the problem. If we spend too much on pots, we have less to spend on orchids!
