I was just going off what the site says. I think I'd rather keep it in the 2 pots as long as its working fine.
I just ordered a bunch of these yesterday >.<

Also, jug realized that "Oxygen" core sounds appealing to us humans, but don't plants breath carbon dioxide? Lol
Anyway, if they work, I'm going to be very happy.

Anyone here have photos of a plant they've been using this dual system for a while?
They are happy over long periods of time?

Actually, I used to think the same thing about orchids "breathing in" only carbon dioxide, but apparently, they use both... I wish I could remember where I read this, and I can't remember if it applied to all orchids, or if it was only about the Phalaenopsis genus... (Or all plants??) That's really embarrassing that I can't remember! lol

But, I guess, either way, the opening allows air flow - it wouldn't only take in oxygen.. It would allow for carbon dioxide to flow in as well... But, yea, I agree that if they were to only breathe in carbon dioxide, a different name would be better Co2 Pots?

I'm gonna see if I can find where I read that... You've got me curious.

Well, I love science, so let me know what you find out. Maybe it's just a generalization about carbon dioxide. I mean, even humans breathe in other stuff obviously but we exhale what we don't need.
I know that elementary level science tends to be dumbed down so kids can grasp the basics.
