Pictures would be nice so we could see what is going on.
If the plant is big and it is in a small pot it will pull the pot over. I have a phal that had root rot and I had to cut alot of the roots off so I had to put it in a small pot, but the plant is a big plant so it fell all over the place.
So I just put it in a decorative pot and put some rocks in there at a slant so that the plant would look like it was standing strate up but it really at a slant.
Maybe this is all your plant needs but again pictures would really help.
