The best way to "ignore" your plant is to get many more of them. I think I've reached the saturation point where I am in a 1/3 cycle. That is, a third of my plants require watering on any given day. So on that day, they get all my attention. The next day, another group gets my attention. Usually a plant or two surprises me with new growth in the third group.

Hahaha!
I was thinking, "it seems all the successful people have a ton of plants. Maybe they do so well bc they don't have time to focus on each one like I do and so the plants can grow without someone fussing over them everyday"

I'll have to tell my husband I need to acquire more orchids in order to ensure survival. ;)
