so those little ones stickin out the top arent the roots crawling out? oh! and should i cut that spike? its died back...dont see any reason to keep it.

you can cut the old spike so it will give a message to the plant to grow leaves and roots to gain energy to produce another new spike of blooms
you can still have three to four bulbs fitting in your pot before you repot
