I'm a beginner!!! Root rot treatment suggestions ?

Greetings orchid forum !!! I'm new to the orchid world and I love it !!!(:
I have three phals and then one day realized that one had a very sever case of root rot, I removed all the black roots or grey/ yellowish ones on the worst one , sprayed w daconil let sit for 1 hour , then removed and let sit in fertilized water for 1 hour and now is sitting in a clean batch of medium . The flowers are still quite alive but two leaves where yellowing and most roots were dead ... Will it make it ?

The secound one had some black spots and most roots were yellow so again I had to trim most of the roots ... Same treatment as above was followed .... Has lots of beautiful healthy blooms still and all leaves we're healthy... Did i trim too much ?...
Help !!!
