OK, are these pots OK for orchids ?

Looks good to me. Epiphytic orchids truly could care less what we put them in, as long as they aren't drowned or given no water. They should thrive with the air circulation.

Thank you for all your input. I am one for recycling, so if it is functional, (should be good airing in our sometimes dry, sometimes wet climate), I'm all for it. I will follow up on the progress of these 2 or 3 I am potting up and let you know.
