Default What to do with "Back Bulbs"?

It's way past time to repot C. Carl Hausermann 'Lucy'. What can I do with all the pbulbs I remove? I don't have space to grow them. I know to keep at least three in a row when I cut. I think I'll have 9 to 12 "spare" bulbs when it's done. Some migh even have eyes. Thanks for suggestions.

You might consider selling bare-root divisions, I might be interested if the price is right. Would love to see a picture of the plant we are talking about.

Why do you feel it is necessary to divide the plant. These look great when they get to 10-12 inch pots or baskets.

You can always remove a few of the oldest bulbs (furthest from the growing direction) and re-pot into the same pot if space is the issue.

I would love to try some back bulbs as well if you decide to get rid of some of them.

Sorry I haven't posted sooner. Thanks for all the good ideas. I was slow to decide on what medium to use and then could not find a local hydroponic store. Anyway I ordered the ceramic medium from Ray and bought a huge pot. Once I get the medium and orchid repotted I'll see if there are bulbs that don't fit in the pot. I waited too long and it's pleated and looking unhappy. I suspect the bark has broken down and there is root rot. I've been a bad orchid mom. Can't wait to get the new medium.

Are you planning on using the Prime Agra as as the potting media or going with semi hydro? If you're planning semi hydro (S/H) it would be best to repot when new roots are growing.

I'm planning to use it as a potting media. New roots are growing now and Prime Agra should arrive tomorrow. Thanks for the tip.
