Clear Plastic pots with cheap shipping?
Maybe I'm being overly cheap, but is there a supplier of clear plastic pots that doesn't charge $10-$15 for shipping? I like the selection and product cost at Repotme, but $10 to ship some light plastic cups is a bit high, IMO.
I've never used plastic to repot, but I bought some Phals planted in them, and i love it! Seeing the roots and moisture level is awesome. I want to make the switch, but we'll see what I can get on the cheap.
Also, I've thought about drilling holes in Rubbermaid containers. The dimensions are usually not as flower pot-ish, but I'm sure they will get the job done. Another down side: could be hard to put them into opaque pots for show, etc.
