Now here is something useful to do. Use up what corks you have (after slurping your wine), some wire, and hey presto, a great memento to hang an orchid on.

That's pretty cool! Do you just weave some sphagnum into the spaces and then strap the the plant to it? What type would work best for this? I've got lots of corks!

Yes, spagnum moss would be a great base for any orchid, I haven't tried it out yet. But it would have to be kept moist each day.
