I wouldn’t have realized how bad it was if I hadn’t picked it up to inspect it more closely, and suddenly... the white threads appeared.

I handle the plant with care since it was about to bloom. Cattleyas are resilient, and with prompt action, the mold can be eliminated without compromising the health of the plant or its upcoming flower.

After all, the bloom is beautiful 🤩❤️...
