A Google search suggests Fernwood is tree fern fiber, not bark.

I have been using that Fernwood tree fern medium to replace sphagnum for a bunch of things that like to stay damp. It is much more breakdown-proof than sphagnum. Rewets much more easily, too. It's definitely not fir bark or any other sort of bark. Does Fernwood have other products such as bark?
