I agree. I never remove leaves until they dry up, turn papery brown, and fall off on their own, no matter how badly they look. Most of the time old Phal. leaves turn yellowish and wrinkled, then fall off before they turn papery. You walk into the growing area and see the cast leaf on the surface of the pot, separated from the stem.
