Questions about repotting!

It was suggested that I re pot this poor orchid. She had 2 babies with air roots that I’ve already re potted and so far, so good!

Now I want to re pot the Mama in a proper orchid pot. Do I clip the roots that are sticking out of the pot? They are very dry…..

Don't clip anything - the air roots may be dessicated, but they can still contribute - what you see is the outside velamin - the spongy coating of the roots. The core of the root can stil transmit water. Give the plant a good soak before potting, soften up those roots. Then you can gently coax them into the new medium.
