Where to get bulb pans?
I have a Ludisia discolor in bloom. Experience tells me that it's going to explode with offshoots whan it's done. I the past I've potted it on into bulb pans (5-8"), but I don't find any obvious places to buy them.
Ideally they'd be clear and available in quantities < 10 (maybe 20). It's easy to find quantities of 100, 200 or more, but this has not been easy. To boot, everything I've found has been expesive (> US$3/pot). Does anyone have any pointers or advice. (It's been > 30 years since I had to do this, so the price cited might be more reasonable that I think.)
Thanks.

I got my last batch ak Kelly's Korner, they are out of stock on 8 inch, they do have 10 inch.. but price is higher than you found. These can be difficult to find. When I do, I lay in a stash.
I found some at Charley's Greenhouse and Garden that have a different shape, but would proably do the job, for less money.

I don't have time to do it, but that could become an online business - reselling smaller quantities of unusual plant pots you buy in quantity.
Various garden clubs I've belonged to have in the past bought multiple cases of unusual pots to split among the members. For example, the 1-gallon Stuewe and Sons tree pot, which is only available by the case.

That's where I've gotten them in the past. Kelly was a friend of mine, and, out of misguided loyalty, I still send business that way.

I found some (5 & 6") at Quarter Acre Orchids.
The pots aren't clear; I'll live. The 8" bulb pans look too conical for me to feel comfortable using bark based mixes. And they have Rand's AirCone pots (and lots of other pots too).
As usual, threatening a problem on the internet brought about its solution. Thanks everybody!

I usually buy pots wholesale (= full boxes). Depending upon pot size, that means anywhere from 112 (gallon size) pots, to 12-1500 pots (2" & 3" sizes). Bulb pans are hard to find though, and I certainly do not need 7-800 pcs.
However, a couple of years ago, I bought some 'seedling pans', which are about 6"x9". If they work for you, I can send you 10 pcs for $20 + shipping.
