Ok, so my vendor hand-delivered to a local orchid show and showed me what she brought me.
It has two growths (previously flowered) and has like two stolons coming out of the drain holes. They're too little to do anything with but let them grow. Apparently this cross must be stoloniferous

She suggested putting in a little pot of their own to let them root. I am wondering if anyone has some ideas to prevent me ripping them out of the pot when I'm not thinking when I water (soak).

Picture? I don’t grow these but other people may be able to give you more specific advice if they can see what’s going on.

I figured words were just as good as a picture, imagine stolons with plantlets on end, coming out of the drainage holes, length of stolons are approximately six and eight inches in length (which considering how small this paph is...geez that is amazing).

It isn't going to provide information that I did not provide. But I will assume that you simply said, could I see a picture, even though I know it won't help *lol*

All suggestions will be seriously considered. The best I've come up with is to repot the whole thing and get runners up in the same pot as the parents, by cutting the pot apart. Then hope the stolons are elastic enough to get them into the proper placement without breaking them.

Carefully cut the pot away to free the stolons and plant it in more of a tray than a deep pot.

Well Ray, I'm sad you agree with me *lol*, now I just have to find something to pot them in. Perhaps a used frozen food container. Since I don't actually keep those things, I guess when I go to the grocery store, I need to look at options there and make sure I can stomach it ;0

A trip to your local Goodwill or Salvation Army thrift store may turn up something. I have found items at those places.

Good point, and I do need some dogfood, and the pet shop is in the same shopping center as the Goodwill.

Ok, I found a small (to me), but sufficient shallow plastic container that will house 4 growths easily (and maybe six in a year or so) at GoodWill for 75 cents (can't beat that).
Thanks folks. I'll under take repotting either this weekend (after I look at what potting mixes I have) or next (if I have to order some).
