Should I repot these Catt hybrids?
I got a couple catt hybrids from Hausermann several weeks ago. One small Blc Gulfshore's Beauty that is blooming size and one Slc Jewel Box about 2-3 years from blooming size. Both are in seedling pots (2.25" x 3.25" square).
I was planning to wait for spring, but now I am not so sure. I noticed that they are both just now starting to put out a bunch of roots even though we're entering autumn in the northern hemisphere. The Blc also looks to be starting a new cane. Perhaps it is time to repot now?
Neither of them are spilling over the edges of the pot just yet, but the bark mix seems a bit old. Certainly they are not freshly potted in this mix. Of course I have no way to know for sure when they were last repotted.
Any harm in just waiting? I do not know when the next "growing season" is likely to be, whether it is spring or next fall, etc.
And, if I do repot, do I put them back in the same pots if possible or go up a size, particularly for the immature Slc plant?
