Hello OrchidBoard! I hope you can help a newbie out
I recently bought a zygopetalum a bit impulsively as I wanted something a bit different from my few phals.
After I got the plant home I noticed that one of the bulbs looks a bit dried/decayed (see photo) and also that some of the roots poking out of the soil feel mushy to the touch.
The plant currently has 2 spikes, and I am therefore unsure if the best action would be to repot the plant and cut off the dead parts to prevent any potential rot or if I should let it finish blooming before stressing it in any way?
I live in Denmark and the plant is currently placed in a west-faced windowsill with a huge tree in front so it gets plenty of non-direct light. My apartment is almost a constant 20-21C (68-70F) with usually 45-65% humidity though this varies out of my control.
