Rbarata ----- I can confirm that my C. Caudabec Candy spotted catt will consistently undergo the colour transitions during the aging. Just before flower wilt and flower drop, it is noticed that the colour becomes that spectacular deep reddish/maroon colour ------ and glazed appearance, and the spots become hidden/masked.

The colour dynamics are quite impressive ------ which is what I see in those two comparison pics you showed, which are fantastic. They put on a really nice colour and pattern show!

That's an extra bonus from the spotted Catts...at least some of them.

Fantastic!! Just one day after taking those bud pics ..... some bud splitting activity is happening today.

I forgot to mention ........ I will admit that I bought the wrong plants. I thought I was purchasing C. Lulu when I was buying hehe.

I didn't pay close enough attention to the name ...... and along it came through the mail ----- C. Lulu Land (two plants!) -- which is not the same as C. Lulu.

But that's ok. Anyway ------ this C. Lulu Land is not a clone, so it will be interesting to see what the flower comes out like. First time flowering for this one. Hopefully looks ok (but also ok if not hehehe).
