Exclamation Cattleya Crisis: Repotting 911

Alright, everyone.

I finally have the time to repot an old Cattleya, and have several divisions that look like the one pictured.

As you can see, there aren’t many viable roots remaining.

Looking for any and all insight as to the best means of encouraging new growth, in order to save this beauty.

Thanks in advance, from New Orleans!!

i would put them in the new pots and use a kelpmax water for a little while but i have seen that a lot and new growths will bring new roots and it should be fine.

when i find a rescue catt like that or worse, what i do is just put it on top of some lava rock in a clay pot and secure it with a rhizome clip or wire and then just leave it alone other than regular watering and feeding along with the rest of the catts

Thanks very much for the feedback!

I'll see what I can find, and give it a shot.
