I've been watering them everyday. I removed the top few layers of pumice to expose the roots a little. The whole thing stays wet for a few hours, before going damp and drying by around 5-6pm.

They seem to be doing well!

Watch them carefully. "A few days" is insufficient to know if everything in good or not.
