Miltonia wandering branches how to repot?
Default Miltonia wandering branches how to repot?

Miltonia woodlaron ruby x miltonia potted in clay pot/bark grows with branches extending out of pot and many exposed roots (photos incl.), now in bloom.
At suggestion of grower, I yr. Ago, I placed the entire pot as is inside a wood basket with bark. A year later plant never attache to basket, so I remove it. Plant has several dry bulbs and suggest to me in need of help??
All photos I find on line of miltonias do not seem to have the wandering vine like growth that mine exhibits.
I grow this orchid in a greenhouse with adequate humidity and hot summers, water once per week.
My question:
Should I remove dry bulbs?
Should I cut branches and repot together?
Should I repot and in what?

Brazilian miltonias can have fairly elongated rhizomes, and that one should have been repotted a while ago.

You might consider dividing that into more-manageable clumps.

Thank you very much.
I will divide it and repot as soon as the flowers fade.
