L. Astrophora for sale?
I've been drooling over every picture of L. Astrophora I find. They're such amazing little plants. Thing is, I can't find any for sale anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get one? I don't need a big (by comparison) one, I just want a division large enough to be healthy and grow.

Before J&L sold their business to the new owners, they were one of the reliable sources. I do not think the new owners sell the orchid, though.
Good luck!

Check with Andy's Orchids if you haven't done so already. There aren't currently any in their catalog but you could ask in case they have a few. Sometimes, places won't list an item if thy only have a few on hand.

I think Ecuagenera sells them and their hybrids, but most Ecuagenera orchids I have arrived in terrible conditions.

L is . . .
Laelia?
Liparis?
Something else?
Not sure what genus you are looking for.

Should anyone encounter a Lepanthopsis melanantha for sale while searching for L. astrophora, the knowledge of who the vendor is would be worth my firstborn child. If I had children!

Hey I just bought a Lepanthopsis astrophora at tarzanegroup.com. They specialize in all kinds of miniature orchids.

I'm not 100% certain, but I believe that company is run by a person who used to be pretty active here, particularly with miniatures, Tommymiami. He was a really good guy.
