I find it to be a true cool grower thanks to the M. chaparensis influence. I try to keep it below 75F highs and close to 60F at night. I also tried using evaporative cooling from a clay pot and semi-hydro. The plant grew strong at first but then declined pretty rapidly - I now have 4 much smaller divisions instead of the once gorgeous one but they look good and I think they will bounce back with time.
I will say that I think humidity is as important for these as temperature - they are not happy below 60% and prefer it above 70%. I just took down a 38f fish tank and am moving most my Masdies in there for the winter.
