It is an awesome plant Susanne....you will be happy, but make sure you grow it intermediate to cool. It will tolerate warmer temps but will sulk for a long time afterwards.
Mine has many spikes on it right now and the flowers are just starting to open. Hoping to get a good picture this year as they are so small last year I could not get a good shot.

Thanks for the tip, Tom
I will be able to do that by placing it in the tank.
Now, I'm very excited about yours in bloom!
I can't wait to see

It will certainly be interesting for Sue and I to compare our plants, as mine will go out with all the other in the rather warm and bright orchid room. It is always surprising to me when things bloom out there that really shouldn't.
I know that I probably shouldn't push the envelope, but that's just my nature!

A few years ago I found this tiny orchid with tiny flowers and a huge name, Lepanthopsis astrophora, and brought it home. The name tag was twice the size of the plant. It continued to bloom for a full year before taking a break. I give it daily water and keep it in bright shade. It seems to be tolerant of a wide temperature range. Definitely challenging for photography though, because it's so small. Even with a macro lens it's tough to do.
