Pleurothallis condorensis
New guy in town (received last week), but incredibly bizarre flowers that I really like because I like weird things. I've included a bud shot. You can really tell why this plan got its name.
*My only credit for this bloom and the bud is that I didn't blast either.

Oooh I like this! I enjoy the weirdos too, can definitely see where this one gets it's name.
I have a Zootrophion griffin with a similar flower though it never really opens up. Odd and kinda creepy.
Thanks for sharing!

Plueros are so awesome, and the biodiversity!!! My idea of heaven is to be surrounded by Pluerothallids and birds on unending varieties. THanks for posting.

Mine too, though I would need to add dwarf laelias and my furkids past and present then it would be my heaven.
I am so happy the birds are getting going up here in the north, minus the chick-a-dees of course who are always active. I love the song of the white-throated sparrows and on warmer evenings I like to try to spot the male woodcocks doing their flight-dance!

What a neat bloom! It is no worse than my beloved Lepanthes gargoyla and some of my Bulbos.
