Masdevallia Haneczka - more blooms
Hi all,
THis is currently blooming again. It is on the last surviving spike and I am hopping this is just the end of the blooming cycle and not that I did something wrong.
It's a beautifully bright bloom, I am very happy with it.
Enjoy.

Thanks all! No flash, just sunlight. That's why I don't turn out photos everyday. It's been so cloudy almost everyday this winter that I rarely get the sunlight I need for these photos.
Hey, but it's worth it since these flowers look their best in natural sunlight.

yeah, natural sunlight is the best... I just shot a bunch of plants of my friends and it was a rather cloudy and wet day (odd to have so many days like that here) and it's too bad because I couldn't capture the sparkle they'd have under sunlight... anyway so that explains how you captured the glimmer and texture of the synesepals... beautiful...
