An easy plant that always blooms profusely in the fall.

Pretty flower, reminds me a bit of nidifica but it may be the stripes. Your plant is gorgeous as well. Thanks for sharing!

Very nice I like the species ( I have 29 in my Masd. collection) they are so often over looked when it comes to displaying them. I suspect because they are predominantly small flowering plants. Keep up the well done effort.

I prefer the species, too, and have only a couple of hybrids in my collection - all the rest are species. I do tend to collect the smaller species, but have always liked the species better than the hybrids.

Mine is blooming now too. Love the stripe on the flowers. They are hard to photograph, great pictures!

Oh, I have to add these have a faint pleasant scent too.

I hadn't noticed the scent. I'll have to check on mine.

Oh wow he's putting on a really good show Ron. I'll have to say I like them both, I mean species and hybrids. My hirtsii (sp) kind of put on a show like that the first time it bloomed, up until I killed it.
