Default Platystele umbellata and Dryadella cristata

I just received my last order of the year, I don't like shipping them when the temps are in the 30's. I've done it with heat packs but I always worry.

After seeing a recent thread of Dryadella cristata, I had to have one and in finding it I also found the Platystele umbellata that I've always wanted but never purchased until now. They both arrived a bit dry but happy, healthy plants. I must admit the umbellata is much larger than I expected and it is blooming.

They had a heat pack in their box, I was happy to see that as we've had some cold nights. These came from Glass Box Tropicals, my first order with them. Mike was very nice and helpful, I will no doubt order from him again. Here are pictures of the new babies.

Nice acquisitions. They look healthy enough. How are you going to keep them?

Thank you Tindo and Ron. The Dryadella will grow in my window shelves with additional lights, think it may need a larger mount soon. I'll water daily, maybe twice per day as the mount is so small. I have another Dryadella in this same area and it has been blooming for a month. Really nice plant. It was Rons post about his Dryadella cristata that sparked my interest in this plant.

The Platystele umbellata needs fairly high humidity so it will reside in either my little greenhouse or the Exo Terra. It might grow well in a nice glass container of its own. I am happy with the size of it as usually these are very small. I plan to leave it potted, going to repot into a clay pot. It sure is cute! Thanks for asking.

Thank you Charles, I'm excited. I was a little reluctant to order as I don't see feedback for Glass Box Tropicals often. They have eBay listings as well so I decided to visit their site. I am happy with my order and will buy from them again. Mike even told me to ask if there is anything I am looking for because he has a lot more plants than he's listed.

I've been wanting to order from them for a while... great looking plants! I may give them a try then, thanks for biting the bullet... I've been wanting cristata, although I just picked up a zebrina, which if you don't have, is actually a cute plant! your exo terra, by the way, is real cool!
