Thanks Tindomul. I'll watch it, now I have 2 spikes in bud along with the one blooming. Yours is nice (saw the flickr picture, is is as violet or darker in real life?)

Love the color. Its a beauty. I have a Redwing, not sure if they are related but it will bloom from the same spike also. I don't cute them until they turn brown.
