Default Masdevallia princeps- Masdie Haul part deux

Hello all,

So last week I posted some pics of the Masdie blooms I received from vendors. Here is one I cannot take credit for since it came in bud. I guess I can claim I didn't blast the bloom, though it was only two days away from opening. Do they even blast at that stage?

Masdevallia princeps "Golden Gate" x Ebony
from Golden Gate Orchids. Excellent quality stuff! I love this species and all the others in it's subgenus plus hybrids there-upon.

Look at them Sepaline tails!!

And what is that, leopard print??

I will bet $100 I could blast them at that stage.

Belated, but as promised, here is a picture of the entire plant. As an update, the plant now has two blooms, though the second blooms is much shorter. Not sure what thats about, any ideas?
