Hi, can anyone tell me how big around are the flower spikes of Dracula bella?
I have a plant growing in a small colander and I have doubts whether the holes in the bottom are really large enough for flower spikes (should I be so lucky as to have any) to poke through.
Here's a pic of the plant and one of the holes with a US penny for reference.
Thanks.
I don't know the diameter of the spike, but even if it will fit through the odds are pretty good it'll have to work to do it. Too much plastic, not enough hole.

Yeah I'd go with a fairly open net pot... this one's flowers open closer to the plant i believe... a friend of mine grows dracs amazingly well, trying to find pictures of bella...
also I'd get a smaller pot... the flower spikes grow close from the leaf base/axils and and head down then outward, with such a big pot they spikes may stay buried in media...
