Pleurothallis ornata: Mexican Orchid With Fringe!
Good Morning!
I am drinking a delicious cup of French-pressed coffee. . .Mexican & Costa Rican blend, in celebration of this morning's new bloom!
This may well be one of my fave top ten orchids. I just received it from Andy's Orchids.
I LOVE it!

I'll try to take better photos today so you can see the full monty. It's just a gorgeous miniature.
It's on a thick, heavy "branch". . .no idea what type of wood but it feels like some sort of hard wood. Might have to email Harry.
Ross, I hope you'll buy one! Keep in mind that Andy's sent me a huge box of goodies and it was VERY well packed and had a little heat pack. . .all arrived in perfect condition.

Andy uses a lot of local Manzanita. I know more than half the mounts I've gotten from him, especially the larger ones, are Manzanita.
I have a long list (6 plants) so far that are definite maybe's for spring. I'm going to a big show tomorrow and may have filled some of the empty voids when I get back. But it is still on my list.
