I have all my Masd's in my North kitchen window. It is nice and cool in the winter perhaps cold when the wind is blowing. But this time of year as the sun changes I have trouble because the sun in the very early morning shines in on them and the roots get too hot. I also have a humidifier that runs over the top but it still most of the time say's it's to low for them. I'm having a bit of luck but my Dracuvallia looks horrible and my hirtzii also. My ignea had spikes that got about 2 inches then blasted.
I never let my house get to hot as I can't stand it then, so my temps aren't to bad. It will get into the low 70's at times but that is all. I have never seen my thermometer read in the 80's. At the moment it say's 71 degrees with 50% humidity. See too low, but a mist is right over them. My humidifier has 2 spouts on it and I put it in the middle of the window and have them facing over each side of it.
I also re-potted all but one into spagh and tree fern.
