Thank you leaf mite! I'm loving it. After searching it seems this little guy has been hard to locate for several people trying to find one. Being seed grown might be the only way unless you take cuttings of a larger plant.

So cute. I have never bought anything on Ebay, just not comfortable with it.

Fantastic species, but I can't figure out what makes it tick. I have mine in a 20-gallon tank with other Pleuros and it just limps along. It's not declining, but grows slowly...
I hope yours does well and that you can share your success with the rest of us!

anramitaco, I can tell you I was told to treat it similarly to any other Pleurothallis I have that grow mounted. It should go briefly dry between watering-no more than a day or two of dryness. It had been growing in 70-85% humidity and night temps 55f-65f. Bright dappled diffuse light. Hope that helps. Mine is doing well so far.

Heya, very cute guy... I grew similar species, the thicker little round leaved types... crinita has the coolest flowers though!
Used to buy a bunch of stuff from Darrin, whatever he says is valuable... except he grows in a luxurious green house...
The plant looks pretty young, the leaves should be even more succulent, so it may take some time to develop. This species complex grow very very slowly, so don't hold your breath.
A friend has this one and another one or 5 I think, he keeps it in the cool greenhouse and shaded. Andy's has it and others, and they're in the intermediate house, with dendrobiums so it probably can handle some drying off and bright light, but I wouldn't recommend that happening too often. Bright light would make it grow a bit faster.

u bada thanks for the comment. Darrin is great, very helpful with any questions you may have. He told me this plant is 3 years old, only 18 months out of flask. The leaves will thicken as it grows and should be about nickel size. They are thick, just not as thick as they will be. It is doing well, even has a couple of new leaves coming. I figured it was a slow grower being as old as it is now at this size. Darrin said it should bloom in the next year. I would love to visit his greenhouse!
