This is quickly becoming one of my favorite miniature orchids. It has been blooming continuously for months and I keep wondering just if and when the flower stalks will stop growing. It also seems pretty tolerant of warm temperatures and doesn't miss a beat in the summer when it's tough to keep the terrarium cool.
I'm thinking of getting Salpistele dressleri, too. Anyone else grow these?

Something pollinated it...

Oooh, this is cool. I've not seen this mini before and the bloom is awesome! Very nice little plant. I would think you must have had a visitor at some point to have pollinated it. Pretty exciting. I need to go check out Salpistele, may need one of these.

This one is great! always wanted one but doubted it's ability to deal with warmth...

Lucky you, you're near JLorchids... if I were in your neck of woods I'd have most of their catalog in a heartbeat...

u bada, it's a blessing (for my collection) and a curse (for my wallet) being so close to J&L. They have a wonderful selection and are so helpful.

I have never heard of this genus or this plant. Nice job and thanks for sharing!
