Lepanthes telipogoniflora first bloom!
My little Lepanthes telipogoniflora is sooooooo close to blooming! I love the way the bud looks like some kind of origami.
This is my first pleurothallid bloom ever, and I'm so excited to see it open!

Congratulations!
I think these are just amazing and wonderful, even more so than a picture can express. Of course, the pictures aren't terrible. I use pictures of mine for my computer and phone backgrounds.

Omg that's such a cool little flower! I've never seen that. Very alien-like.

Just an update for my own future reference- this flower started to droop today, and I think it's about done. It's gone back to the triangular folded look it had just before it opened.
So it was open from February 19 to March 2. Not bad- 13 days fully open!
