I have become increasingly enamored of the genus Restepia. I have 5 now, all species. There doesn’t seem to be too many hybrids out there. I’ll just have to look harder!

2 of mine are mounted on Kool-logs, 1 is mounted with moss on a piece of wood, and two are in clay pots with Sphagnum. All seem to be doing very well. Here are the latest 2 to bloom. Repstrepia muscifera (smaller purple-y one) and cuprea (larger orange one).

They're awesome, Carrie! The colors are so striking. And I agree, I was given one a year ago and because it is interesting I am ready to add some more to my collection.

what are your growing parameters for the ones on kool logs? i've been considering getting more (i have a muscifera that seems to be doing well), and was wondering if kool logs might work for me...
