I tried one the year too. It was a travel companion to my amesiella monticola project plant. I had 3 growths die before the 4th it is on now. The newest growth is doing very well so I am hoping I fixed the issue and get blooms one day. Mine certainly doesn't like to get dry.

These like it cool, humid and never to dry out completely. A clay pot or setting their plastic pot in a clay pot helps keep their feet cool. Good luck with yours.
