Way to go. Mine are not doing so well either. They also go bad for me in the summer so I am going to have to figure something else out for them. I am however just losing my first one. It only has one leaf left but they mostly all look a bit stressed.
I have had 3 bloom for me.

Thanks. I wonder if you found a cool shady spot in your yard to put them over summer. I think I will try that next summer. We have misters that come on in the flower beds and maybe under a Hosta leaf or just in a cool shady spot they might fare better. Winter is not such a problem for me as the greenhouse is cool. Humidity not super high but around 50% in winter. We can get it much higher but then we have lots of condensation which we don't want. We actually run a de-humidifier out there in winter!

Just thought I'd mention that slugs love Hostas so putting your masdies near one may not be a good idea!

So true. I rarely have slugs, but for many, it could be an issue. I'll keep it in mind when I choose a spot tho.

Beautiful!!
I tried one the year too. It was a travel companion to my amesiella monticola project plant. I had 3 growths die before the 4th it is on now. The newest growth is doing very well so I am hoping I fixed the issue and get blooms one day. Mine certainly doesn't like to get dry.
