cool! Here is the link: Kool-Logs

I took these pics of the plant today. I have new growth and it's doing great. All I do is put rain water inside the log. It hasn't bloomed yet for me. Not sure why but it's healthy.

Yea, that's some seriously nice growth. Try increasing the light maybe? Don't know how bright you keep them. Do the kool-logs really feel cold to the touch?
I took the time last night to order a starter set for $35. I have a lot of Masdies coming soon and I need to keep them somewhere.

Thanks. The Kool-logs do feel cold to the touch. The s.moss on the plant will be really wet and cool too. It still wasn't enough for my Masdevallia uniflora, I lost it when it got really hot but my glandulosa and striatella are doing great on the Kool logs. The erinacea I moved into sort of a reverse Kool log and it's doing great. It is in s/h type pebbles in a clay pot setting in a dish of rain water. I have a few masdies in that. I also put a Haraella retrocalla on a Kool log. It just wasn't doing well for me but now on the kool log I am getting new growth.

I have 2 masdies that are really cold growers in a wine cooler refrig, so far that is working for them. My glandulosa is in a North window, slightly back but maybe I will move up.
