You have a cute little flower there....your environment must be humid enough to nurture these Pleurothallids....

That would be a very humid home.
Actually, I grow this in a jar, with the mount sitting on a bed of LECA. I have a few other mini orchids that grow this way as well. Each day, I remove the lid for a few hours to give a little air. It is a very easy way to grow these little orchids.

I just ordered one of these from Andy's! (Along with a Lepanthopsis astrophora, Pleurothallis lewisiae, and Haraella odorata!)

Be careful...these little orchids are rather addicting!

I am new with the Pleuros.... I started with the Platystele stenostachya that was being sold by one of the OS members. Now I have this one, a Lepanthopsis astrophora 'Stalky' and a Pleurothallis rubella. The problem is, I find myself constantly browsing and researching more of these little orchids and adding to the wish list....

The Haraella rectrocallas are really great little orchids. I almost killed the first one and so I mounted it on a rock, then put it in a jar with water on the bottom. It recovered and I loved it so much I had to buy another.
I also like the miniature Bulbophyllum. J&L is selling one labeled as Bulbophyllum biseriale that is really tiny and cute.

Andy's is great! If you have any questions at all about your new orchids, just give the place a call and they will get Andy on the phone to answer them all.
