Does anyone even have this orchid? It seems so rare in cultivation yet it seems like a perfect candidate. It comes from Costa Rica and Panama and I'm not so sure if they have any export issues regarding orchids. It was also discovered fairly recently (1984) but that still doesn't justify its rarity seeing how a bunch of other pleurothallids discovered after that time quickly gained popularity.
Haven't grown mariposa but telipongonflora is in my collection in a little hanging orb. So cute, loves still air the reason it's in the jar, and loves it warm. I'm not sure if this helps but I do agree mariposa would be a good candidate for cultivation as well
