Default Masdevallia glandulosa conflicting info

Hi guys! Does anyone have any experience growing this one? I searched the web for care information and I've come across some conflicting care information. Some say it needs to be mounted and that it has a dry season. Others say that they treat it like any other masdevallia and it does fine. Temperature-wise, most agree that this is warmth tolerant but a few reports say that they don't do well with even a few days of daytime temperatures above 80 degrees. Thanks in advance!

I cannot offer much advice, but its worth remember that warmth tolerance is relative. Often when refering to Masdies, warmth tolerance means 60-65 in the night and 68-75 or 80 if you must during the day. Increase moisture and ventilation as you approach 80. Even those numbers I am afraid to give to you, I really want to say to keep it at 65-78 and no higher for the day! Also my references tell me this one is an intermediate which can tolerate warm temps. This means it will grow best at 55-68 day time and 55-56 night. I have one that is currently in bud and I keep it no higher than 75 in the day and it goes as low as 55 at night.

I had glandulosa for many years, and it is an easy grower. Just grow it along with your other Masdevallias. It is said that it is native in a relatively warmer valley, but other Masdevallias like tovarensis or even veichiana have proved to be more warmth tolerant in a hot European summer.
You can grow it mounted if conditions fit, or you can grow it in a small pot. Do never give a dry period, although normally we water less in cold winters.
