I got one and a plopped it in a moist corner of my terrarium. It dropped most of its leave, but it did put out a few new growths in a more exposed area where it got some ventilation. Microclimates are hard to predict. Where it was unhappy in one spot, it grew nicely only about an 1.5 inches away. Now the new growth has thrown out a spike and I am psyched out!
Moral of the story, it likes it moist but not wet, and yea, keep it under 80. The difference of 1.5 inches in my tank not only provided more ventilation but also about another 1 of distance from the artificial lights, which probably dropped the temp every so slightly.
