Thank you! This was one of the first Restrepia I owned. It's got a really nice yellow hue to it.

It's one of my favorites too. I was astonished at how pretty it was when I saw it bloom in real life the first time.

I Love Restrepia, I currently have 18 species from this Genus. Restrepia mendozae is listed as a warm grower, but, it's with all my Restrepia in my cool, shade greenhouse with bright indirect light. The temps rarely go over day 85/60 night in the summer. In the winter the lows are near 50, but on average it's 55+ degrees in the day. Most of the plants are in idle mode in the winter. I have a few that bloom early Winter. Almost all Restrepia are cool growers, but tolerate intermediate. I've seen some species do very well in warmer temperatures. Some of them prefer a bit more shade, so they grow under the foliage of the larger species. They really take off with new growth in the Spring, it's amazing.
